My series work is 3 pieces made from 3 different fragile organic substances covered in a metallic spray paint. The first piece is called Egg Heaven I made it around easter and we all think of Easter eggs so i decided to replicate easter by taking kitchen eggs and cutting them in half and cleaning them. I decided to use 12 to symbolize the 12 disciples. I spray painted the whole thing a shiny copper gold. The whole piece is very fragile. The second piece is called Wisdom Flowers. After I got my wisdom teeth out my dad gave me flowers. I dried them and flattened them and then reconstructed them into new flowers and placed them on the canvas.I decided to reconstruct the new flowers instead of using the original whole flowers. I took green spray paint and lightly sprayed it over the flowers then went over them with paint to add more color. I took the same copper spray paint from the first piece at sprayed it onto the flowers until I liked how it looked. The third piece was a mix of the first two pieces, I used boxwood leaves and assembled them onto one side. Goodess Gracious is the name of the third piece. I used silver spray paint and copper to give it a greek look. All three of my pieces represent fragile organic life.

I took dried flowers and flattened them with books. I reassembled the flowers into new flowers and attached them to the top of the canvas. I places some single petals till about half way down the canvas. I lightly spray painted them green then painted on top of the flowers some dark purples, browns, yellows and reds. I then spray painted most of the canvas copper until I got the look i was going for.

I took eggs and cut them down the middle and cleaned out the insides and attached them to cardboard. I had to be very careful and try and not break them. I added paint to the inside to try and harden the shell more and it gave it a cool swirly look in the middle. I spray painted the whole thing copper.
